J Crew coming to Europe // Fashion News

Jenna Lyons herself confirmed that J Crew, the American retailer beloved of Michelle Obama, is coming to the UK and is going to open more than one (!!!) stores in London.

“We’re looking at spaces on Regent Street. And I wouldn’t mind being in Covent Garden for a smaller store. It won’t be just one store – we’re not gonna be stingy,” Jenna Lyons said yesterday, during the New York Fashion Week Fall 2012 presentation.

“We have a huge British following already – our New York stores get a lot of customers, and what we do is not very well represented in the British market.” J Crew is currently only available in the UK via Net-A-Porter.com and online at jcrew.com , but orders are shipped from the United States, and this means extra charges on taxes and fees...

J Crew is one of the fashion brands I am craving for a long time now and I admire Lyons' style deeply! The new London stores are planned to open sometime next year (2013).

Here are some photos of yesterday's Fall 2012 presentation at the New York Fashion Week. The shoes are designed by Manolo Blahnik!
