Hello everyone!! How was your weekend? For the past few days, the biggest part of Greece is experiencing a heatwave and most people are either inside their houses with the air-conditioning on or at the beaches. Yesterday, Athens was like an 'abandoned city'! The Duke (hubby) and I decided to visit the Athens Archaeological Museum, where there is a new temporary exhibition about the Shipwreck of Antikythera, the treasures and the extraordinary mechanism that were discovered. This Sunday's outfit was inspired by the beautiful Greek Summer: Sea, Sun & Sand!
Top, Skirt: ZARA // Shoes: Tsakiris-Mallas |
Purse: Uterque // Rings: Accessorize |
The Antikythera Ephebe, a bronze statue of a young man, dated about 70–60 BC |
The Antikythera Mechanism is an ancient analog computer designed to calculate astronomical positions, dated to the early 1st century BC. |
If you are planning to visit Athens until 28th April 2013, you should add this exhibition on your schedule.
I am wishing you all a great week!
