When in doubt, all you need is my "Go Classic" recipe. You will look confident and all the good feelings you can imagine will flood your stomach (similar to the one with the butterflies). Trust me, you can never go wrong, whatever the occasion (weddings are excluded, unless it is stated otherwise on the invitation).
"Go Classic" Recipe
- The Black Dress. There is nothing as chic as a midi dress. You need to pick the one that is right for you, your personality, your body type. Never go for something uncomfortable, like too tight or too revealing. Same goes for something too comfortable. Well-fitted is all you need to have in mind. It is your key piece, so pick wisely
- A pair of Fancy Heels. A simple dress is automatically elevated by a pair of eye-catching shoes. The safe choice is black, but ANY other bright or nude color matches perfectly. I would avoid dark brown and dark blue.
- A Necklace. I choose pearls, but you can go for anything your heart (and personal style) desires. You can match it with a ring or a bracelet, but don't wear earrings. It is going to look too crowded around your jaw and neck.
- A show-stopping Purse. Last but not least, a statement purse can spice up a look in an instant.
