In my opinion, Cate Blanchett, apart from being a formidable actress she is also the epitome of elegance. That said, I was blown away by her Old Hollywood look when she attended the Venice Film Festival as a guest and hit the red carpet ahead of the premiere screening of "A Star Is Born". She wore an Armani Prive black velvet dress with feathers on the upper part with a heart shaped deep plunging bustier. Breathtaking!
My other favorites were Dakota Johnson (Suspiria) in a red Christian Dior Haute Couture gown matching it with with a pair of same color and fabric elegant pumps and Olivia Colman (The Favourite) in a minimal yet stunning black Stella McCartney pantsuit with a floor length cape.
