Oscars 2020 // Red Carpet Favorites

Very talented and stylish (and lucky) Renée Zellweger holding her Oscar and standing gracefully between my two favorite actors, Joaquin Phoenix & Brad Pitt, also winners in their categories @ last night's 92nd Academy Awards' ceremony. It was a delightful, bright and very stylish red carpet from which I chose my top 10 favorite to share with you and Renée was one of them.

1. Renée Zellweger - Armani Prive
In her white sequined column dress she looked poised and utterly elegant. Her win was well deserved!

2. Kristin Cavallari - Valdrin Sahiti
Her dress was a poem in baby blue satin fabric! I have never heard of this designer before but thank you Kristin for introducing him to us!

3. Geena Davis - Romona Kaveža
I love it when dresses have pockets! I am obsessed when couture dresses have pockets! Geena looked so fresh and youthful in her deep plunge black gown covered in sequins and beads.

4. Brie Larson - Celine
You may call her a princess or a superhero, Brie looked stunning in her caped maxi dress covered in crystals. That nude pink color combined with the shimmering details made her look alluring and glamorous at the same time

5. Janelle Monáe - Ralph Lauren
Another theatrical look, coming from an artist with a unique and very distinguished style. Covered in over 168,000 Swarovski crystals, Janelle looked absolutely divine. Really loved the hood and the open back of her dress

6. Mindy Kaling - Dolce & Gabbana
This was the perfect choice for Mindy, not only because of the warm yellow color that matched her skin tone, but also the one-shoulder draping that kind of reminded me of a sari, paying tribute to Mindy's Indian roots. She looked amazing!

7. Regina King - Versace
Beautiful and regal, this was the ideal dress for a strong and talented woman named Regina (means Queen in Latin) with such a toned and lean figure. Loved the color and the train from the waist down

8. Florence Pugh - Louis Vuitton
What a fun and colorful dress for a beautiful girl like Florence. That bright teal color looked amazing on her and the multiple layers of frills made her look so playful and sweet. The matching heels were also by Louis Vuitton, in case you were wondering

9. America Ferrera - Alberta Ferretti
The moment I saw her, I felt she was sending me Romeo&Juliet vibes, although I am pretty sure that was not really her intention. The puffy sleeves, the empire design and deep red color make this a piece of clothing, one that most of Shakespeare's heroines would own

10. Sigourney Weaver - Dior Couture
Emerald green is always a great idea to match with red and auburn hair. The drapings on the chest, the rope belt and the maxi pleats from the waist down made her look like a modern Greek goddess

This was definitely one of my most favorite Oscars red carpet and I had a really hard time cutting down the list of my favorite looks to just 10. Let me know yours!
