As a child, I believed that grown-ups did not know everything. And, in fact, I still do.

In my experience, knowledge does not come with age. Never rely on your university degrees or your life/working experience, just because you are called a teacher or a manager or a parent or a minister or a doctor or a judge.

The most important thing is to have your ears, eyes and mind open. Start learning something new everyday, be part of the present and listen to the new generation, the young, try to understand instead of rejecting. They know different things, live different lives and have different worries and dreams than you did when you were their age.

Stop talking and start listening, hear them out, learn from them. You will be surprised how refreshing this feels! The past is our history, our foundation, but the present is the path to the future. Be curious, be willing to learn.

Curiosity did not kill the cat. Gossip did.
