Early this Summer, I received a huge PR package by OGX with shampoos, conditioners and oils which I shared on my Instagram stories. I had never heard of the brand before, but those of you who commented on my stories and had already tried them were mostly raving about them, so I had to try them too to see for myself.
I picked the Kukui Oil shampoo first, for two totally irrelevant reasons... 1. I loved the black&gold bottle, I am a sucker of an elegant packaging, even if it is a humble shampoo and 2. I was ecstatic by the name "kukui", so unique and unheard of, like an exotic bird! I know, I am pathetic, and these are no reasonable criteria to decide upon what product to use on your hair, but, oh well, that's just me...
To cut the long story short, I used the entire bottle (385 ml) and I am here to tell you about it. My hair loved it, I loved it and here is why: Even during the most humid days, my hair did not frizz, it felt lightweight, vivid and smooth for 3-4 days after washing it and 99% every day was a good hair day! What else is there to ask from a shampoo! It has a divine scent which lasts for days and like all OGX products it is sulfate free.
This, hands down, is the best shampoo I have ever tried. Like EVER! Now I began testing out its little sister, the one with Keratin Oil. If it works for me, you will see it here in a couple of months, if not, I will proceed to the next one.
