Thanks to Meghan Markle, I got to notice this brilliant young designer, Brandon Maxwell, who is also a photographer and director. He has been around for a couple of years, but I only heard of him once before, when Lady Gaga wore one of his pieces at the 2016 Oscars red carpet.
In my opinion this is his best collection so far, a mix of modern and vintage, girly and feminine, colorful and subtle. Highlight: those clear hatboxes held as bags. I am obsessed. If they didn't cost a small fortune ($2,495) I would definitely get one for myself!
