Golden Globes 2021 // Amanda Seyfried in Oscar de la Renta

This year's Golden Globes were unique and very different from those held in the past, due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. There was a very special audience attending the Globes, such as first responders and essential workers instead of actors and celebrities. All the nominees watched the ceremony from home and the winners will receive their statues at their houses by post in the coming days. Only Tina Fey and Amy Poehler attended the venues, Tina in New York and Amy in L.A., also happening for the first time, along with those who presented the winners in each category.

Although, attendance was from home via Zoom, celebrities did not disappoint us fashion enthusiasts. One of my favorite, maybe my most favorite of the evening, was Amanda Seyfried, also nominated for best supporting Actress in Mank, in an Oscar de la Renta coral strapless gown hitting the flour with a small train running at the back and a garland covered in flowers hugging the top part of her body. She looked alluring and dreamy at the same time, giving a contemporary glance to the Old Hollywood glamour. The hair, makeup and jewelry complemented the retro aesthetics of her outfit.
