Elle Fanning is one of my favorite celebrities that I follow their style everywhere they go, on and off the red carpet. That mint floor length gown designed by Alessandro Michele especially for her, with jewel details on the straps and back, was inspired by the chiffon dress by Edith Head, which Grace Kelly wore to pick up her Oscar for The Country Girl in 1956. Elle was nominated for the first time for her role as Catherine the Great in The Great.
The barely-there makeup with dramatic eyelashes and the sleek bun made her look so elegant yet glamourous at the same time. Last but not least, the train and the long piece of fabric hanging from her right shoulder screamed "Old Hollywood" from miles away.
