Remember this post, in which I was wondering what will happen to Lana Del Rey now that people know she cannot sing that well? It seems that the fashion world has the answer:
Mulberry gave Lana her own signature bag!
According to Mulberry's blog, just like Alexa (Chung), they gave Del Rey's name to a new bag that is launching in May, as part of their Fall/Winter 2012 collection:
"Lana has mastered the style of Old Hollywood, mixing it with an edgy sense of fun. This contrast appeals to us: we love mixing eclectic references with classic details in the way that Lana does. The Del Rey bag is infused with this idea, combined with the easy sensibility and English common-sense practicality of our heritage icons."
The rectangular Del Rey comes in a variety of leathers and will be available at a cost of 760 EUR (approx.), WWD reported.
